Circularity

Towards circular fashion
For Maje, a garment does not end with its first use. Driven by this belief, the brand offers its own approach to second-hand, repair, rental and product upcycling to extend the life of its creations. A circular approach that transforms the way we experience fashion, reducing its impact and optimising resources.

Repairing for sustainability

For Maje, a lower-impact garment is one that is kept for a long time. This philosophy is key to its repair programme.
Since October 2025, all 52 sales outlets in France have been offering this service. In practical terms, customers can drop off their Maje garment or accessory in store. On site, teams help them identify the most appropriate repair approach. The item is then sent to one of two workshops in France, operated with the partner Save Your Wardrobe.

A key element in circularity, this programme helps to extend the life of products, avoids the purchase of new items and reduces pressure on resources. Analysis of the most frequent repairs also feeds back into the work of the Style, Production and Quality teams, which refine design details to improve durability.

Preserving the MAJE DNA

Each repair is designed to respect the authenticity of the piece. Whenever possible, original Maje components are used to preserve the original style. Failing that, components of equivalent quality and similar appearance are selected.

The workshops handle a wide range of repairs: simple fixes, re-knitting, delicate knit repairs, relining and interior finishing, and small repairs on leather goods and accessories. Each gives the piece real wearability, without sacrificing the Maje identity.
